Returns

Returning Items


We are happy to refund or exchange any item purchased from Clark Forest and we don't charge administration or restocking fees, so there will be no charges for anything returned to us.

Our returns procedure is very simple. All that we require is for our returns form to be completed and sent back with the goods. You can download and print off our returns form here. (For more detailed information on returning items, please see our reasons for return' section).

For our customers in the UK, please return the items within 30 days from the date you received them and for our International customers please return the items to us within 40 days. Just complete our returns form and enclose this with the items for return.

Returned items must be unused, returned in the original packaging and be in a resalable condition. (We would really appreciate it too if cat/dog hair could be removed before returning clothing and the garments are free of cigarette smells too. A full refund may not be available for items that are returned in an unsalable condition).

Unfortunately we cannot accept returns of clothing that has been personalised eg. with company branding applied.

Refunds will be made to the credit card used for the original purchase or if your original payment was made via PayPal, we will credit the PayPal account that the order was placed with. Please note that this may take up to 10 working days to appear as cleared funds.

If, when you receive your item, you decide that it's just not 'your thing', don't worry, you can return it to us.

Please contact us first by telephone on 01387 860241 or email us at returns@clarkforest.com to let us know, as soon as possible, but certainly within 30 days of receiving the goods. We will ask you to return the item to us, which must be unused, in it's original packaging and in a resalable condition and be accompanied with one of our completed returns form.

If you require a replacement item, please indicate this on the returns form. We may charge you again for delivery of the replacement item and will contact you if there is a difference in the goods value to be paid to obtain payment.

If you would rather have a refund for the item, the refund will be made to the credit card used for the original purchase or if your original payment was made via PayPal, we will credit the PayPal account that the order was placed with. Please note that this may take up to 10 working days to appear as cleared funds.

For items that are 'unsuitable' you will be responsible for paying the carriage to return the items to us.



What if the item is damaged when it's delivered?


If an item is damaged on delivery to you, please do not sign for the item and the courier will return it to us.

If however you have signed for an item and then later realise that it has been damaged, you should contact us straight away either by telephone on 01387 860241 or by email to returns@clarkforest.com. We will ask you return the item to us as soon as possible, but certainly within 30 days of receiving it. It would be very useful if you could complete and send with the items one of our returns forms. Please securely package the items and indicate where the damage is. We will refund any delivery costs incurred for returning the item to us, together with the costs of the damaged goods for items which are not being replaced.

If you require a replacement item, we will dispatch this at our earliest convenience with no additional costs to you.



What if the item fails after use?


All items supplied by Clark Forest are from official sources and are covered by the normal manufacturer's warranty. If an item fails prematurely or you are concerned that a product we have supplied may be faulty (not fit for purpose), please contact us by telephone on 01387 860 241 or email us at returns@clarkforest.com as soon as possible to advise us of the failure.

We may then ask you to return the item to us for assessment and ask that you follow these guidelines:

1. Any goods returned for assessment should be in a clean and dry condition.
2. Goods should be accompanied with a note of your name and contact details, the order number and the date of purchase. (These details can be completed on our returns form, which should accompany your goods.) This will allow us to deal with your query correctly. Please also provide us with a brief description of the fault.
3. Please note that an investigation into perceived faulty goods may take time to complete, however we will endeavor to process all investigations to a reasonable timescale.
4. If the goods are found to have a fault Clark Forest will repair, replace or refund the goods (at the sole discretion of Clark Forest).
5. If the goods are found not to be faulty, the goods will be returned to you. Clark Forest, subject to the UK Statutory Right of Cancellation, reserves the right to charge you for the costs incurred in dealing with goods that are found not to be faulty.

We may need to return some products to our suppliers for inspection or possible repair before a credit can be issued.

Due to Health and Safety regulations, we request that all used clothing be washed prior to returning to us. Failure to do so will result in us having to send the item back to you, as we will be unable to inspect these goods.



What if I've ordered the wrong item?


If you have ordered the wrong item, don't worry, you can return it to us. Please contact us first by telephone on 01387 860241 or email us at returns@clarkforest.com to let us know, as soon as possible, but certainly within 30 days of receipt of the goods. We will ask you to return the item to us, which must be unused, in the original packaging and in a resalable condition and be accompanied with one of our completed returns forms.

If you require a replacement item, please indicate this on the returns form. We may charge you again for delivery of the replacement item and will contact you if there is a difference in the goods value to be paid to obtain payment.

If you require a refund for the goods, we will make the refund for the goods (excluding original carriage charge) to your credit card or PayPal account depending on how you made the original payment. Please note, this can take up to 10 working days to show as cleared funds.

For items that are 'unsuitable' you will be responsible for paying the carriage to return the items to us.



What if you have sent me the wrong item?


If we have sent you an incorrect item, we ask that you contact us by telephone on 01387 860241 or email us at returns@clarkforest.com to let us know, as soon as possible, but certainly within 30 days of receipt of the goods. We will ask you to return the wrongly sent item to us and request that you complete and enclose one of our returns forms with the item. Please return the goods in their original packaging and in an unused condition.

We will refund any postal charges that you incur sending incorrect items back to us, and will refund or replace the goods, as you require.

If you would rather have a refund for the goods, we will make the refund for the goods (including the original carriage charge where applicable) to your credit card or PayPal account, depending on how you made the original payment. Please note, this can take up to 10 working days to show as cleared funds.

Who pays the postage on returned items?


If you return something due to it being unsuitable or not fitting correctly, you will need to pay the postage costs to return it to us.

If you return an item to us due to it being faulty, or we have made an error with your order, we will refund the return carriage up to a value of 25. If returning the item is going to cost you more than 25 in carriage costs, please contact our Returns department on 01387 860 241 or email us at returns@clarkforest.com and we can arrange to collect the item for you using one of our couriers. Please state a date and collection address (not Saturday or Sunday) where the goods can be collected from.

When returning items to us it is your responsibility to ensure that the items arrive safely. Unfortunately, we cannot accept any responsibility for items lost in the post and therefore recommend that you use recorded or special delivery or alternatively a courier, so that you are covered in the event of a missing parcel.



How long will you take to process my return?


We aim to process all returns on the same day they arrive with us, but if we don't manage this, we will certainly deal with your return within two working days.



What if you're out of stock of a replacement item?



If we are out of stock, we will contact you to advise when the replacement items will arrive into stock and when you can expect delivery. If you are happy to wait we will dispatch the item to you when it arrives in stock, with no additional charge to you for carriage.

If however you cannot wait for the item to arrive in the given timescale we will refund your payment as follows:

If you paid for your order by credit card:

We will refund the original credit card you used to pay for the goods and postage. Please note this may take up to 10 working days to appear as cleared funds.

If you paid for your order by PayPal:

We will credit the PayPal account that the order was placed with. Please note this may take up to 10 working days to appear as cleared funds.
